Hiring: Continuous Improvement VA for Scalewind

BRIEF: We are currently looking for a part-time Continuous Improvement VA who will be responsible for a lot of process improvement, admin- related tasks (mostly follow-ups and documentation), and executive assistant work for the CEO.

Lean Six Sigma certification preferred

JOB PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for leading small- to medium- sized and assisting in transformative continuous improvement initiatives in support of the business. This can be done through the application of various continuous improvement tools and techniques such as value stream and process mapping, and waste and root cause analyses. With knowledge and understanding of governance standards, continuous improvement (Lean Six Sigma, PDCA) and delivery methodologies (Agile), this role is responsible for facilitating various stakeholders towards operational optimization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as an organizational partner to support a formal continuous improvement program and facilitate execution of continuous improvement initiatives for internal customers including but not limited to, conducting strategic planning and discovery sessions, performing root cause analysis, and validating improvement value realization through metrics.
  • Facilitate the organization through improvement initiatives using PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) and Lean Six Sigma approaches
  • Train the HCSC community in the understanding and adoption of CI tools and techniques and promote a continuous improvement culture and use of those tools.
  • Partner with an internal audit and controls team to ensure controls are architected into processes, delivery models and governance
  • Lead/Support internal team operations and improvements including backlog management, metrics and data assessment, process change, and process guide management

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College level or a Bachelor’s Degree in business, commerce, or communications with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing process improvement projects AND technical processes
  • Experience delivering improvement projects within a matrixed organization
  • Analytical thinking and facilitating problem solving
  • Understanding of iterative/agile delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to simplify and standardize general intermediate concepts/processes, and tie solutions across multiple systems
  • Ability to execute while navigating customer relationships
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize, and make trade-off decisions
  • Adaptability/ability to manage changes quickly and efficiently 
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in Lean and/or Six Sigma philosophies, tools, and techniques.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Yellow Belt certification
  • Prior experience in Consulting, Information Technology, Insurance, and/or Healthcare.
  • Familiarity of change management, release management and SDLC processes.
  • Understanding of future/emerging technologies.

OFFER:

• $520 monthly
• 4-hour block on EST timezone|20 hours a week
• Insurance and Telemedicine (after 90 days of regularization)
