We are hiring a part time Business Development Representative for Scalewind. Working hours will be any 4-hour time block between 9AM to 6PM PST/ CST. 

This position’s general goal is to help bring growth and revenue to the company by performing tangential sales / marketing related activities. The priorities include following up leads to close (all leads), co-managing the affiliate program, supporting the sales leads (Michael and Royce), running and monitoring the leads email list, monitoring the 90-day cross-selling emails with the CSMs, and sending pitches/ proposals. 

This is a part-time role with a monthly retainer + no limits on commissions and bonuses. We need someone confident on the phone, ideally with an American / neutral accent. Previous lead generation, sales assistant or marketing assistant experience is required. Knowledge of the digital marketing industry is required.

What really puts you on top of our candidate list:

• Documented success in a sales/ marketing role (even if it’s assistant-level)
• Confidence in speaking on the phone, especially with American customers
• Passion for copywriting, and previous copy / content experience
• Worked in the digital marketing industry (preferably sales/ marketing) for at least a year
• If you’re an avid learner/ reader

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
• Contact potential prospects through cold calls, emails, Fiverr, Upwork and other channels
• Strategize and write different content for direct message sequence, email sequence and not limited to proposals on Fiverr and Upwork.
• Manage messenger inbox in Scalewind Facebook account
• Identify what channels to generate leads work/ not work and optimize/ suggest appropriate solutions
• Sign new affiliates through calls, emails or other social channels (training will be provided)
• Build long-term trusting relationships with affiliates
• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market through various channels/ targeting strategies.
• Actively communicate with Scalewind division heads and team members for different information/ status on various ongoing projects/ deals.
• Set up meetings or calls between prospects and Account Executives
• Report to the CEO on a daily basis

Important expectations:

• You do everything reasonable and ethical to push a sale. The easiest and main task here is follow-ups. Even if we have a good front-end leadflow if the follow-up is not good sales won’t follow.
• There is no task too big or too small for you.
• You love learning and you love to be coached. We have the best salespeople in the company (our CEO closed all the sales in a year and made us go from zero to a seven figure company), and our closing rate as a team is more than 50%. You will get all the resources, guidance, templates, software needed on Week 1.
• You are expected to be efficient. Asking yourself if there’s a better, faster, and cheaper way to do things is a daily responsibility.
• You will WRITE A LOT. There will be emails (mostly), and the more emails you send the more money you make. This is an undisputed rule in the industry.
• You are expected to behave like an A Player all the time.

Retainer and Rewards:

Base is $300 USD a month + bonuses/ commissions for training, after 90 days, you’ll increase to $350/ month – 4 Hours a Day on US time.

Contractor base monthly payment $350/ month + commissions (no cap) 
• $100 bonus for 1895 Plan follow up
• $50 bonus for 995 Plan follow up

Sales commissions (when you start to close sales and generate your own leads):
• $200 bonus for 1895 plan contact-to-close
• $100 bonus for 995 plan contact-to-close
• 10% of contract price contact-to-close (for one-off projects)

Note: We want you to focus on your results, and there is  no cap on your commissions, so if you were able to follow-up 10 contracts per month and they closed/ paid, that’s an easy $1000 commission for you. Our first BDR made $800 in commissions in the first month, for context. We have a great lead generation, affiliate, follow-up and accounting team who will help you out. You just need to be relentless and driven

This is a great opportunity for someone hungry, has a great love for sales and marketing, learning, and is a highly motivated self starter. This is not for someone who is just happy to clock in and out of a job, and someone who has low standards on the work that they do/ produce.
