WE ARE HIRING: Shopify/WordPress Front End Developer VA for Sky High Visions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Should be able to build Shopify & WordPress themes from scratch and modify existing ones extensively.
• Be able to replicate Figma’s or PSD’s to pixel perfect HTML markup
• Be able to learn new front-end CSS frameworks, specifically UIKit
• Be well-versed in JQuery and be able to implement custom toggles, sliders, etc.
• Be able to code quickly, solve problems on their own and use best judgment to finish projects when I’m not around

REQUIREMENTS:

• Already knows Bootstrap
• Have at least 5 years of experience working with Shopify and of experience working with WordPress (or a skill level that’s equivalent)
• EFSET English proficiency level C1/ C2
• With stable internet connection + backup (non-negotiable)

OFFER:

• $7/hr for the first 90 days
$8/hr after regularization
• Part-time 20 hours a week
• Can work their own time zone as long as they can be on a computer for a brief check in by 6 PM Mountain time

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Sky High Visions is a small two person web design and development based out of Colorado, USA.  We primarily build custom Shopify and WordPress websites for a variety of clients. We primarily use Slack for communication and Trello for task management.  I am a pretty hands-off employer.  You will generally have a main project that you will be working on with a couple site maintenance tasks every day. If you are an experienced front-end developer looking for flexible hours (you can work local time) and competitive starting pay (plus a 13th month bonus), we are your ideal employer!
