WE ARE HIRING- QuickBooks Certified Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
• Update and maintain the general ledger
• Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
• Recording of debits and credits
• Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers
• Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
• Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements
• Monitor any variances from the projected budget
• Business coordination with his 3 businesses and teams
• Billing and accounting activities
• Writing and maintaining documentation and SOPs
• Create presentations and reports as needed
• Handles customer and employer information confidentially
• General support and admin tasks as needed

Requirements:

• 2+ years of demonstrated ability to provide detailed level bookkeeping support –accounts payable, accounts receivable, closing books on a monthly basis and preparing financial reporting and analysis for small businesses.
• 1+ years of transactional accounting experience using QuickBooks for/in a professional organization.
• Willingness to consistently and accurately follow established policies and procedures.
• A passion for and a sense of personal satisfaction in delighting clients and helping small businesses succeed.
• Confidence in learning and embracing new technology to solve client issues.
• Experience in developing strong remote team relationships based on trust, accountability, integrity, and sharing of best practices.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality while working with client data.
• A dedicated office space that has a reliable, high-speed internet connection.
• EFSET C1/C2 English proficiency
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills

You’re a great fit if you have:

• Proven experience as an executive assistant/project manager or other relevant support experience.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work as needed.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft or G-Suite Products; Ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Can work full-time: 40 hours/week
• You’re comfortable being uncomfortable and figuring things out on the fly. Our team is small and new, but we’ll give you the autonomy to help build processes from scratch
• You’re driven and goal-oriented. It can be challenging to stay focused with so much freedom and autonomy, but you’re great at striving toward the prize.
• High-speed internet connection
• Distraction-free workspace with zero external interference

Compensation and Benefits:

• $4/hr US Timezone (40 hours a week)
• Insurance with Telemedicine after 90 days
• $50 retention bonus every 3 months
