Company Overview:
We are a fast-growing online education company specializing in Excel training programs, looking to create world-class websites that showcase our brand with a cutting-edge, professional feel. We are seeking a highly skilled website designer with both front-end and back-end capabilities to join our team. This designer must be able to create stunning visuals, handle complex coding tasks, and bring high-quality designs to life that look like they cost a fortune to produce.

Position Overview:
The Senior Website Designer will be responsible for creating and maintaining the visual and functional aspects of our websites. You must have exceptional Photoshop skills, a keen eye for design, and the ability to independently create pages that look both polished and luxurious. You will be tasked with designing WordPress websites from scratch based on general outlines or inspirations provided and must be able to integrate complex functionalities and third-party tools seamlessly. Availability every day of the week is essential for this role, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Design: Create stunning, professional-grade website designs using WordPress and Thrive themes. Every page should have the look and feel of a high-budget production, with flawless design, layout, and flow.
  • Photoshop Mastery: Utilize Photoshop to produce visually stunning, highly edited images. You will need to edit images for lighting, backgrounds, and overall aesthetics to a level of perfection that looks cinematic.
  • Front-End & Back-End Development: Develop and implement both the front-end and back-end of WordPress sites. Must be capable of coding to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Creative Autonomy: Be able to take a general outline or inspiration from the CEO and translate it into a fully fleshed-out page, complete with design elements, images, and flow, without the need for step-by-step guidance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, copywriter, and other team members (e.g., AI developers) to ensure the website functions seamlessly with all integrated tools. You must communicate well with both creative and technical teams.
  • Problem-Solving & Research: Be proactive in solving problems, whether it means contacting the right people, researching new methods, or watching tutorials to ensure all elements of the website are executed flawlessly.
  • Design for Integration: Ensure that the website can easily integrate with third-party tools, including AI technologies, and that everything is streamlined for optimal user experience.
  • Consistent Availability: You must be available every day, including weekends, to work on urgent projects. Flexibility and a strong work ethic are key.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience as Website Designer
  • Fluency in English: You must have excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, as you will need to collaborate frequently with the CEO, copywriter, and other team members.
  • Expert in WordPress: Extensive experience designing and developing WordPress websites, specifically using Thrive themes. You should be able to create complex pages with minimal direction.
  • Photoshop Expert: Mastery of Photoshop is essential. You must be able to edit images to perfection, making them look like professional, high-budget photoshoots or movie trailers.
  • Coding Skills: Full stack development experience is necessary. You should be comfortable coding the back-end of websites to ensure functionality matches design.
  • Excel Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is important, as it’s our core product, and you’ll need to integrate related tools or design elements into the website.
  • Speed & Precision: You must work quickly without sacrificing quality, delivering flawless designs and functionality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative & Resourceful: While we expect you to know how to do everything related to website design, you should also be resourceful in learning new skills if required.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Willing to work closely with other team members, including designers, developers, and the copywriting team, to ensure all components of the website are cohesive and high-quality.
