We Are Hiring: WP Web Developer (with Elementor Experience) 

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES (Full Time on CST. A “crossover” between CST and PH daytime or nighttime can be negotiated after 90 days):

We are seeking a talented and experienced Remote Web Developer specializing in WordPress to join our dynamic team.

As a Web Developer, your primary focus will be on translating Figma design files into fully functional, responsive, and visually appealing websites within the WordPress platform. You will play a crucial role in bringing our clients’ digital visions to life, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. 

This is a fully remote position, and you will collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality web solutions during our working hours. 

The candidate is expected to carry out these tasks and to have initiative to make things more efficient in the deployment of these websites. You will be tested for mental sharpness, problem solving, and knowledge on the proficiencies listed. Communication and openness is also encouraged. Job Responsibilities:

WordPress Development:

  • Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Implement custom themes and plugins as per project requirements. 
  • Integrate third-party APIs and tools when necessary. 
  • Ensure compliance with best practices for SEO, performance, and security.

Figma to HTML/CSS:

  • Convert Figma design files into clean, responsive HTML and CSS code.
  • Ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs, maintaining the original aesthetics. 
  • Optimize code for speed and cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Front-End Development: 

  • Develop and maintain responsive web pages with a focus on user experience.
  • Implement interactive features, animations, and micro-interactions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 
  • Collaborate with designers to provide input on design feasibility and functionality.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to meet project objectives and deadlines. 
  • Communicate effectively within the team, providing progress updates and addressing project-related issues in a timely manner

Quality Assurance: 

  • Perform rigorous testing to ensure websites function correctly across various devices and browsers. 
  • Debug and resolve issues, such as broken links or layout problems, promptly.

Continuous Learning: 

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Identify and recommend improvements in development processes and technologies.

Security and Performance:

  • Implement security measures to protect websites from potential threats.
  • Optimize website performance, including loading times and resource management.

DESIRED QUALITIES:

  • The candidate is expected to carry out these tasks and to have initiative to make things more efficient in the deployment of these websites. You will be tested for mental sharpness, problem solving, and knowledge on the proficiencies listed.
  • Communication and openness is also encouraged. 
  • Proven experience in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio of past projects. 
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. 
  • Experience working with Figma and other design tools. 
  • Knowledge of responsive web design and mobile-first development.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment. 
  • Up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

PROFICIENT IN THE FOLLOWING PLATFORMS (at least  3 years of experience):

  • Slack
  • Google Suite
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • HTML, CSS and PHP
  • JavaScript
  • Figma 
  • Tech/ Skeletal SEO for Web Development
  • Elementor

ABOUT THE CLIENT:

The company is a fast growing digital marketing agency that works with business to identify a clear path to expand on the web. They apply precise, data – driven digital strategies on an ongoing basis to achieve success.

JOB OFFER:

  • $1600 per month
  • $1850 after 6 months

REQUIREMENTS TO SEND:

  • EFSET C1/C2 
  • Rating of proficiency for each platform (have them rate themselves from 1 – 10 with 10 being expert level)
